About

Two decades of immigration law, and one firm built from nothing

Stacy M. Ehrisman has spent her entire career in immigration law. Licensed since 2009, she has practiced before 19 immigration courts and 12 USCIS field offices across the country, and is admitted to the United States Supreme Court and the federal Courts of Appeals.

Her path took her from Iowa to law firms in Madrid, Atlanta, Memphis, Nashville and New York, where she managed a team of twenty before deciding to build something of her own. She founded The Ehrisman Law Firm, P.C. in 2013 and today leads a multilingual team handling deportation defense, humanitarian visas and the protection of children who arrived in this country alone.

Every person deserves to be seen, heard and protected. That belief is why she practices law, and it is the standard she holds her firm to.

She has been named a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2020. Each week she hosts Tus Derechos, a live program answering her community's legal questions in Spanish, and in 2025 she became a published author as part of the first book released by the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.

Women Lawyers Sharing Stories of Connection, Triumph, and Resilience

Contributing author, Georgia Association for Women Lawyers

The first book published by GAWL, released as the association approached its centennial. Seventeen women lawyers wrote about the journeys behind their careers — the detours, the setbacks and the rebuilding that rarely appear in a professional biography.
